I think it would be really good to figure out a way for a pool of money to be established for the unsung heroes on our team. They make it possible for the stars to shine.

If you get less than $10,000 from NIL you can keep it all.
$10,001-$100,000 you keep 70% and 30% is redistributed.
$100,001-$500,000 you can keep half.
$500,001-$1M you can keep 30%
and anything over $1M is “taxed” at 90% so the rest can be redistributed equitably.

That way superstar players like Trevor Lawerence would pay their fair share.
The best quarterbacks in the country will flock to Clemson because they believe in being equitable.

Just remember, Dan Marino “rewarded” his linemen with just Isotoner gloves. And they looked happy. It doesn’t take much.

Those administering this scheme will necessarily need to skim quite a bit from the pot before it gets redistributed, natch, because bringing progress and equity with other people’s money is hard work.

Was it the Isotoner glove thing or the earlier claim that paying 90% would be a “fair share”? Where did I give it away?
