I haven't read an article on it, but I wouldn't be surprised if it has been mentioned. I was a proponent of it even when I played. It makes perfect sense that a guy who is so big and strong should be harder to bring down. Ball handling is the fear, but it pretty much works when it's done. Fridge also did some blocking as a FB when he played, and he did open some great holes.

actually pushed the center back into the qb. anybody else here remember someone else doing the same thing, as a true freshman,on the remington award winner, no less.
