The learning and the limit

Feb 17, 2020, 7:39 AM

As we have watched Dabo build the football program, we could see places Dabo had to learn before the team could go to the next level.

With Brad, his learning now appears to be fire and consistency. Howdoeshebuildthst and get players to buy in? Dabo does it with 'Best is Standard'. GRIT is different. It's more similar to 'Finish'.

I know many will say '10 years' and 'Bowden' as examples that Brad is set in his ways. But I am not sure. I think this summer changed Brad, building his confidence that he could compete at the highest levels. And it shows.

I would love to hear T.O. and T.M. (Terrell McItyre) on this.

A good test will be BC. Game Wednesday at UVA then play us on Saturday. We have a week. A road game that will be tough but, by records, winnable.

What is Brad doing to build his, and the teams, consistency and fire? Does he use something like 'Best is Standard'?

time he was about to be fired. "He's learned his lesson..." "He knows he has get an offense..." "He finally realized he must attract some transfers..." "He's got a new fire in him..." etc. etc. etc.

You guys are too much. There was no watershed moment where Brad was doing A but learned a lesson so now he is doing B. Sure he has learned things and grown as a coach. His success is a result of having more and better players which is a result of both stability and investment in the program which is just now paying off. Remember when Batson sucked and Jeff Scott did not know how to coach receivers and some of you wanted them fired? The issue was player talent just like basketball. We had to invest so the talent had a reason to choose Clemson. It is working
