Man, the Ghost of Kyiv is bringing back all my Loug Gossett Iron Eagle memories.

Possibly the first Ace pilot in 60 years......on day one of the conflict. This, on top of the snake island story, both are some of the more compelling war narratives in recent memory.

and try to steer the narrative. Truth is, there's no way they can hold out indefinitely against Russia. The best they can hope for is that Vlad schedules some kind of summit, or a 3rd nation gets involved to broker it, and they can negotiate some kind of settlement, which is unlikely.

you'd expect on Day One.

Can't imagine it will be a feel-good story in a few days especially when Chechen army arrives to brutalize the neighborhoods around Kyiv. Best bet for Ukraine is to fight the War of the Flea. Just make it another Afghanistan.
