and Maryland is obliterating the same Auburn team that Alabama needed a miracle to beat, is all the proof I need that the SEC is down and both UGA and Alabama did not deserve to be in the playoffs.

If the networks and conferences were so concerned about FSU getting spanked in a playoff game, then why did they schedule FSU against Georgia? Did they realistically think FSU would have a much better chance against a two time defending national champ? No. They did it to give the SEC team a nice, easy, convincing, slaughter game.
