No just a realistic Clemson fan, who hasn't seen a team with fire in about 5 years.. hoping the desperate struggle to beat the in state rival will renew my faith in what has become a terrible team to pull for.

I wonder if there will be a brawl this year? Especially if neither team is going to be bowl eligibile.

The coots have at least lost to some good teams. Granted, some of ours

have been to decent teams- LSU and Ga Tech, but the chickens will be playing us with a lot of confidence and being played at the Cockroach, it looks like it's going to a tough day for us. I will certainly rejoice in a win there especially if I decide to go but I'm really having to think about whether I want to go into that stadium again not being an overwhelming favorite. I admit, I'm losing the will to expose myself to the kind of crap I've seen hurled at me that last few times I've been there.

5-6? I wouldn't be shocked in the least if Furman was our only W left on the schedule. And we'll probably make the fundamental and simple stuff look extremely difficult against them too.

Well... I am banking on Furman and one game that surprises me when an earthquake shifts the game winning field goal from a bad kick to a good one. You may be right though.

That would be best case scenario, but extremely hard to see. If would help if we were at least dominant on one side of the ball, but we're so inconsistent on both sides and struggle to do the simple things, it'll be a miracle to win more than 1 or 2 the rest of the year. We haven't put together a 3 qtr game yet this year, much less a 4 qtr game.

Miracle is a bit dramatic. Personally, I think the last games are toss ups. Louisville would be the only game I could see leaning towards a loss but crazy things happen. Who can forget the finish in 2003?
FSU, Duke, Furman, + SC are absolutely beatable. Would I bet my home on it? No. But I also wouldn't claim it a miracle if we won out.

I think you read to hard in the world "miracle" lol, it was just a form of sarcasm. But it's still true in a sense when everyone of those teams left except Furman see us a W on their schedule as well. It's a higher percentage that we only win 1 or 2 the rest of the year then win out...that's for sure.

What from this team have you seen that you honestly can look at that schedule and confidently say; yep, these guys are winning 4 out of their last 5? We aren’t and that’s the sad reality of it all.

We have to stop Sellers. I have not seen anything from this defense that tells me we can get him on the ground. Working in our favor is that the coots seem to be underusing his running ability.

Coots appear to be a much better overall team at this point

Alabama game was good example of playing well enough but not finishing the game. Alabama finished and won.
Clemson has yet to play up to the level they are capable as seen last year. Mostly the same team except for a few pieces. This season has been very strange, so going undefeated from here on out is not out of the question, nor is losing 3 of those 5 games.
Obviously at this point, beating the Coots would be great end to this 2025 season.
