only going to have so many possessions. They melt that clock. We need to get it right when we have the ball.

I think it is going to be ugly for GA tech Saturday night, our defense will be motivated and shut them down, just like 2016

Agree . They really haven't been offensively effective against us in the past 3 meetings . I feel lile BV jas a really good feel for how to jandle that scheme and he has the pleasure of getting to put a bunch of superior players out there to get it done . I think we beat GT something like 27-13

we beat Syracuse 54-0 last year, you can say BV had their number. This is a good Paul Johnson team, they can beat us if we catch a bunch of bad breaks.

And this year the Cuse had big gains up the middle..... THE MIDDLE!
GT has a MUCH bigger and better offensive line than the Cuse... and better than any of their lines that we have faced in recent years.

Maybe our offense can cut block Johnson on the sideline so he can get a feel for his offense..lol

The Bryant injury concerns the heck out of me.

We could see a scenario where Bryant starts, tweaks the ankle and an ill-prepared backup comes in and we lose. Al-a Syracuse or GT back in 14. Just don't trust that 80-85 percent stuff. You know this staff always downplays injuries. Might be more like 65-70 percent.

His ankle should be fine. We're not playing on astroturf this week (thank goodness!) But the concussion is still a concern - could affect vision, balance, reaction time, etc.

our defense is maybe the best in the nation at stopping GT cold. They have absolutely no success against us, even when they use all 4 downs. So they usually get little chance to milk the clock. Their QB is better than last year, sure, but so are we; and we've already shown we can shut down running QBs.

GT can & will throw more. If our secondary plays like they did against Syracuse it could be a long night

Hard for GT to melt the clock when they keep going 3 and out... Johnson's whole scheme is dependent on the interior of his line keeping things in balance. Our defensive line, more than anyone else GT has played, has the ability to disrupt GT's offensive scheme on every play. If our defensive line plays to their potential (and like they have the last several years against GT) then it will be a long night for the bees...
