Harper is an a-hole and always has been. A clown deserving of clown questions, and Phillies fans are obnoxious, right up there with NY fans.
Elder was good early, but has seemed to tire over the long haul.
Pitching overall was suspect, and most acknowledged the Braves would need to outscore opponents to go deep in the playoffs. Thus far, the bats have not been as hot as in the regular season.
Like Tidewater, I too, hope Strider can shut them down tomorrow, the bats heat back up, and the Braves can at least get to the NLCS.
However, I think Texas is going to be the team to beat. . .

This just is another example of what a TOTAL JOKE putting all these teams in the playoffs are ! Why play 162 games to let teams that finish 10 or more games back a chance to win it all ? The team with the best regular season is the best team PERIOD !! If this is the "JOKE OF A SYSTEM" they are going to use then just play 50-60 games and let EVERYBODY in the playoffs. They have rendered the regular season totally WORTHLESS !!

Not at all. Fewer teams, and lower percentage of teams, get in the playoffs in MLB than in any other sport. The argument of teams being 10 games back being in the playoffs completely leaves out the context that that same team, with the same record, could be 10+ better than a team that wins a division (see the AL Central), or are you saying you'd be completely fine with a 3 loss PAC-12 team, for instance, getting an auto CFP birth over a 1 loss team that's ranked higher, and their only loss was in the conference championship game? I'd assume not. The regular season is for seeding, but you still have to show up in the playoffs.

I blame this stupid series schedule with a day off between every game except Game 5. It allowed the Phillies to rest up from the Wild Card series which is supposed to be an advantage/reward for the Braves. Now if the Braves win Game 4 they have to travel back and play with no rest to try and steal the series. I’m assuming it’s all hands on deck tomorrow for pitching other than Freid because you have to win Game 4 to get to Game 5. Braves need a couple quick runs in the first to set the tone like they did in the regular season.
