Either 1) They'll peak at a few back to back 8 wins seasons and recruits will realize that losing 5 games a year isn't so hot and the recruiting buzz while die down or
2) They'll have one good year were they put together 10 wins and their coach gets promoted somewhere else.

You have no idea how good Tucker is, and the coaches obviously think he can help us out at the QB position. Most think that we will be taking two QBs next year, and that Tucker is the perfect guy to take as the "second QB" since he's very talented (look at his offers) but he's not going to scare off more highly recruited guys. In other words, he can be a contributor, but he'll help us bring in other guys at the position.
