many radio stations are now refusing to play Bing Crosby’s “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas”.
One line of the song goes like this: “a pair of hop-along boots and a pistol that shoots is the wish of Barney and Ben”.
It seems that this line is causing hysteria among those who are anti 2nd amendment.

Let me just say, with over 40 years of agonizing experience working for/with flaming idiots like Danny Turner (Senior V.P. of 'Creative Programming'), I can tell you these overpaid corporate morons like Turner don't have the IQ of goldfish. Not a creative bone in their bodies. Usually, they're 25-35 and completely inept. Not talented enough to be broadcasters - they get into programming & "management." Then an even dumber president or CEO gives them a title like "Senior V.P." - then the carnage begins.
Clowns like "Danny" have totally ruined radio. Today, it's unlistenable and has been for years. I don't listen to radio AT ALL anymore. In-store Muzak is just another offshoot of the way big corporate runs (and has ruined) broadcast radio.
Next, the jerks will say "White Christmas" is a dog whistle for white supremacists - and IT'LL be banned.
