just whiney bratz and need to learn how to do more with less? Certainly, negligence and incompetence by Phillips & Swofford have helped get us into this ####. Clemson & FSU should lead a contingent to get rid of Phillips.

Some schools have earned more than they need and some don't bother to earn enough, so wealth must be taken from the earners and given to the non-earners to remedy the inequity. For Clemson and FSU to be unhappy and complain is just un-American. They need to shut up and grow up.

The long-term principles behind forming a conference of similar universities is that, financially, it smooths out the up and down years. Some years, some schools do well and generate tons of revenue while others bring up the rear and then in other years, other schools add more to the bottom line. This diversification helps everyone. The problem comes when some schools start investing less and rely on everyone else to carry the burden. Then you get what we have with the ACC when the top third to half of the conference is way out-performing the rest for a long period of time. That's the problem with your socialistic ideas and why most Americans fight every day to oppose them and stop them from infiltrating our culture. Simply put, it breeds entitlement.

The ACC has been very progressive at selling itself out by bringing more of the same with Clemson and FSU being the only schools interested in having a stellar FB program and watching the others with their hands always out to receive what they haven't earned. Oh and it's not like they haven't always known that FB was the bread winner, but they don't want it bc it cost more to keep winning teams up with the facilities, and indoor practice fields along with whatever the nicer things are that the young men like and what attracts them to your FB program!!!

The other schools in the conference don't have the resources to put into football like Clemson and Florida St. These to schools have the most resources in the conference, by far.
Some of the ACC schools have tried to improve their football programs. Wake Forest is a good example. Jim Grobe and Dave Clawson have done excellent jobs in turning around that program, and they have definitely over-achieved. The problem is, they are one of the smallest schools in FBS. They only have an enrollment of about 5,500. They simply don't have the donor base to be a major power, and they never will. It's not because they haven't tried. They have done an outstanding job with what they have.
The problem with the ACC is that they have smaller schools with smaller fan bases, and simply don't have the resources like other school. The reason the SEC and Big Ten are in a better position is because both conference are made up mostly of large state flagship schools that have big alumni bases, and the have more resources.

What do they have like a staff of 40 people or so?
Members should demand 50% of the conference payout to be tied to increased revenue -- say for every dollar in extra revenue, the ACC HQ makes an extra 5 cents.

Jim don't get it, or he gets it but just want admit it. Lots of teams do better with less, but that doesn't mean they like struggling just to keep and being broke while doing it. He says he has examples of programs doing well with less, was that supposed to make Clemson and FSU say ok we really don't want or need more money. What an idiot we have running the ACC, and there has been idiots running it for decades!!! Please tell Jim, why shouldn't the schools that fighting to stay up with 28 other teams that gets a lot more cash than we get. He only cares about his own wellbeing and if Clemson and FSU leave the ACC his wellbeing will be damaged!!!

Because unequal revenue sharing has orovrn to be a failure wirh other conferences, the Big 12 in particular.

The new ACC slogan: "Less is moar".
I never really liked "Accomplish Greatness"
Maybe they can do a commercial with that as our new slogan.

higher an AD with a spine that can go to the Florida and get money $$$$$$$$$
Clemson is too big of a team . they shouldn't even care . Wall Street would buy their stock if they just did NIL and trashed IPTAY because it can't compete in the modern era
