A retired engineer who had been pretty high up in operations at Boeing. Part of his criteria when booking a flight was the plane that was assigned the route. Dude boarded a plane in CT and discovered the original plane had been subbed for a Max 8. Immediately got off the plane and took the 10 hour delay to be assigned another seat on a different plane.

We should have thrown that fat boy in the klink a long time ago, but the extradition case is still pending review in NZ.
The fact he is dredging up a story from ten years ago speaks volumes about his intent. I also seem to remember that the North Charleston plant was being targeted by the machinists union at the time, an effort which ultimately failed. This story is connected because you haven't heard anything from inside that plant since.
As far as the safety record, of the over 1,000 planes which have been delivered, there have actually been relatively few issues. Of note, Boeing did halt deliveries last year over safety concerns having to do with the fuselage, but those seem to have been resolved.
If you just went by what was said by the workers on the hidden video, you'd think there would have been all kinds of problems revealed by now. But who knows who they were, what their responsibilities were, etc.
