So let me get this straight

We started the preseason ranked number 1. After 13 games, we had won 12 games where the score was not even close. And we played one game that was close. But we still managed to win that game on the road and are still undefeated.
Georgia started the preseason ranked number 3. The dawgs lost at home to a South Carolina team that finished 4-8. They also lost in a conference championship game where they trailed in the 4th quarter by 31 points before they scored their one and only touchdown.
Over the course of the season both teams fell 2 spots from where they started after posting those results.
One team is undefeated. One has 2 losses. Exact same drop in the polls. Makes no sense.

UGA benefited from beating an over-ranked FLA and ND.

They did have a good win against Auburn too, but looked pretty mediocre beyond that.

Let's look at that a little closer...Georgia is the only team in the CFP top 25 that lost a home game to a non-bowl qualifier! There was only one other team that lost to a team that got less than 6 wins, and that was Oklahoma St, who lost to Texas Tech ON THE ROAD!
And before you say that is just one game and the committee looks at the whole schedule... Didn't Ohio State get penalized after winning the BIG10 a few years ago simply based on one loss to a 6-6 Purdue team on the road? Alabama (no SEC champ) got in over a 1 loss conference champ!
During the season, Georgia beat 8 bowl qualified teams...the same number as Clemson!
Yes, there is an SEC bias in the CFP committee and, of course, ESPN.

Oklahoma got in over OSU last year when OSU lost to Purdue. Both were conference champs. ND was the only non-conference champ that got in last year, but they were undefeated.
In 2017 Alabama got in over B10 Champ OSU, but OSU had 2 losses (one was a 31-pt loss to Iowa) & Pac 12 Champ USC who also had 2 losses (had a 35-pt loss to ND).

You are trying to apply the solution to one problem to a completely different problem. UGA's situation is not the same as Clemson's situation.
