Lawson will replace Vic Beasley, and Kevin Dodd will replace Crawford.

"Clemson has been historically better than Carolina. That's pretty obvious." - Classof09

"No one knew we were overhyped until the season started." - Classof09

you don't worry young, grasshopper...

as sure as the sky is blue, one thing is always true about Clemson...

we always find or develop DE's. has been that way since the early 80's. don't know why, but it just happens.

That is so very true!! remember Beasley wasn't even a DE

Oct 8, 2014, 9:19 AM

He was recruited as an Athlete and projected as a TE. Then they made him into LB and finally transition him into DE. Now, he is probably the best DE in the country. That says alot about our excellent development of DEs.

Lawson will definitely hold down one spot. Between Dodd, Aiken, Ebo, Yeargin, I'm not sure who the front runner is but I'm not worried.

I think Chris Register becomes a DE. He will be a beast. Korie Rogers probably could too.

Speaking of Crawford...

Oct 8, 2014, 11:17 AM

The fiance' went on the field after the game and I spoke with #93. That man is HUGE. Holy crap. I had to look up his stats after the game and I think it lists him at 6'-5" and 275 or so.. I don't believe that at all - that guy is a monster. I can't imagine having to battle that guy in anything. I'm 6'2 and 200 and I swear he's got me by at least 6 inches and 150 lbs. Damm what a beast - thank God he's on our side!

The fiance' and I, is what I meant...
