say we only lost to Miami and GT was 2-1 having only lost to us (and obviously Duke and Miami are 1-2) we would have gone to the championship.

The way the tournament played out with the top seeds, the must win game was the GT game.

ACC title games in general are not always legit ...

The ACC title game ... whether in baseball, basketball, or football in many instances is NOT a match-up between the best two teams in the league.

But, I suppose we have some comfort in knowing that even if Clemson had won three straight and reached the title game, the ACC championship would still not have been a match-up between the best teams in the league ... :(
