You obviously haven't listened to her. She thought racism existed when she was refused a Covid test in Colorado. She said the lady was racist even though the company's email said she was refused a test because of her stance (misinformation) on the virus.

You're missing the point. Maybe she was. But according to Candace, racism isn't a problem and made up by the Democrats. Why does everyone have to watch CNN? I don't watch any political programs.
Candace posted a video about the Colorado incident. What makes her claim of racism more credible than others. Because she agrees with most of your points of view? I prefer not to follow anyone who have no political experience. I'm guessing you like her political views and that's why you follow her. I also prefer to listen to any politician, from either party, than someone who just gives their opinion and is never in the room when laws are made.

Whatever. You replied to my post by saying this wasn't a football post but I didn't make the original Candace post. I never said anything about racism towards me, white men, black men, etc. But you chose to bring up your grievances to me. I never started affirmative action and when were you denied a job because of it. I know my parents, who were born in 1948 and 1949 faced racism. My dad faced it as he fought for this country. But this is suppose to be about Candace and you want to talk about a job you never missed because of affirmative action. Blacks are minorities so the chance of being discriminated against is much higher because most business owners are white. It's common sense!!

Deputy I'm going to do you a favor and be honest and tell you something that no one else has probably ever had the respect, or courage to say.
Have you ever argued with a small child? Someone between the ages of 2-5, or 6 maybe? They're incredibly unaware, illogical, devoid of facttual information, and untethered from the real world they live in. The only thing they care about is their feelings, their wants and needs. They'll scream bloody murder to get their way eveytime.

The original poster talked about Candace Owens. What the hell does she have or what I said had to do with affirmative action. This was never a "debate." First debates are on a subject and you debate that subject. Who talked about your grievances. Only you? I stated that Candace Owens faced racism and was asked to prove it. I did. You never once backed up what you said with any facts. Every person has their own stories. If you were discriminated against then it was wrong. This was about Candace. You made it about yourself. I only mentioned anything personal about me in response to your attacks. I'm far from "slow" or whatever you're trying to imply about my education. I'm fine with the degree I have from one of the best schools in South Carolina.

Affirmative action may have good intentions but is implemented poorly. A friend of mine who finished with a lower GPA, a lower SAT score, and did not take the AP classes that I did, got accepted to Clemson out of HS and I did not. In fact he received a scholarship because of affirmative action. I came from a single parent home, his family income was much higher. Yet he deserved a leg up?
I did transfer out of tech school with a 4.0. Then graduated and went on to get multiple degrees. He never graduated.
I am all for giving the ones who need it fighting chance, but this type of thing happens quite a bit.

When i attended App ST back in the early 80's it was a known fact that most of the athletes were black because of affirmative action. Blacks did not want to attend Boone (to cold) so to keep the feds happy they mostly recruited black athletes. I never really cared because I just live life liking everyone regardless of skin color. You guys have a great Easter.

Trump's only path to the presidency was to become a Republican. I'm independent. I pander to no politicians. Trump knew Democrats would never have a candidate who is a racist, liar, and thief with multiple bankruptcies. I wouldn't hire anyone like him to manage or run my business why would I want him to be president. Citizens in this country have been saying what I said since before we were the United States. Equality is a basis of this country. And yes, there is truth to what you say because no one is free to just say or do anything because there are limits. Of course, there's a lot B.S. out there today and no one agrees with all of it and some people are allowed to hide behind the constitution without merit.
The attacks on children started years and years ago. Although everyone is different, the one thing I know about my children is that I stayed involved and no one was going to change the values I instilled in them without a fight from me. That meant being involved in their sports, meeting with teachers at every opportunity and most importantly, talking to them everyday and talking about what was going on with them.
It wasn't "Leave it to Beaver" but maybe my aggressiveness in the area of my children's lives made a difference. I wasn't going to back down and if I didn't like what the teacher, others or my kids said we discussed it.
Yeah, it was different without social media the way it is today. Don't get me started on social media and my perceived pitfalls. It's hard enough to raise children in a daily environment but throw in millions of warped minds from around the world and it can only be a losing battle. Probably today, private or home schooling would be the way I would have to go to stay out of jail.
