Hate it for Houston. He won’t be able to thrive in that franchise. No offensive help and his cognition is slow.

Looks like they should’ve taken you before Stroud. Cognition is about connecting the dots, and you couldn’t. That’s what Houston wants.

Maybe Stroud doesn't work out in the NFL, but he was an elite college QB. AR was never good at any point at Florida. He's an elite athlete but he has miles to go before he's an NFL caliber QB.
I feel like alot of high level coaches just have this overconfidence / arrogance that leafs them to believe they can develop these guys into elite players where others have failed. Very, very few of them actually can.

Stroud was just way more consistent than AR. Watching Richardson’s tape, I see a quicker Cam Newton. But he only did those things a couple times each game. It wasn’t always apparent.
Richardson will pan out better than Stroud. He has so much more in Indy to work with as a whole. At least more than is in Houston. Stroud will just not be able to adjust to what is being thrown at him by D Coordinators. Richardson broke records at the combine for the QB position in some categories I believe.
Stroud said he’s a football player, not test a taker. But there’s a reason they make these guys take the S2 Test.

Richardson is a real head scratcher. He looked decent in one game I watched him play in. May be they are thinking Lamar Jackson type QB, but I’m thinking he will not last very long in the NFL.

off, I think. Cam produced in college, winning a national title. Cam produced in the NFL, winning an MVP and QB'ing a team to a Super Bowl. I dont see what AR has done to be compared to those lofty standards.
