That was on July 21st ( or onto a post that originated on July 21st).

Georgia Tech is in position to be in Charlotte. A 7-1 Clemson team should be there also.

Even if FSU beats Miami and we beat FSU … and Clemson wins all 9 of our next games (including S.Carolina by a good margin) … a one loss Miami team will have more ‘beauty contest’ points than us. Our only remote hope is for FSU to beat Miami, and then for the HC Mario Cristobal factor to intervene and blow a game against SMU or Louisville or Pitt.

GA Tech plays an incredibly soft remainder of the 2025 season. They should easily run the table. Their only risk is Haynes King getting hurt and missing the rest of the season. Even in that awful scenario, GA Tech’s remaining ACC opponents are probably still to weak to beat a GA Tech team that is without H.King.

GA Tech and most likely Miami will be in ACC Championship game.

They say that November is what you're remembered for in college football.

Miami has got to stop losing to unranked teams after starting hot. I'm not quite sold on them yet going through the ACC with no more than 1 loss.

Given that Louisville is late November, if we improve as the season progresses, which Dabo's teams usually do, I think we win that one.

I think FSU is the hardest game remaining on our schedule.

Only if a completely different team takes the field in the next few weeks is that even a remote possibility. We need to worry about being bowl eligible and beating the coots. That is who we are now.
