How could Clemson have best record over ranked teams? Their conference sucks, their schedule sucks, but they beat good teams because they are not beat up from their soft schedule!!
But yet previously, Clemson's soft schedule wasn't going to prepare them for the hardcore SEC and playoff teams!! They will get whacked due to soft schedule, oh wait, will be better because of soft schedule, oh wait! Uhm??? Clemson just doesn't have SEC speed! Oh wait, they can not sustain! Oh, wait!!! They are cycling out and.....!
Please tell me what the next 5 yrs of excuses will be??? It's getting pretty tiresome! I do hope Dabo has 2 more in him in the next 5-7yrs, that would put him in the cosmic echelon! Bear, while good coach, had the unlimited recruits. Saban is the best modern coach but if Dabo can get couple more, he would surpass Saban as far as doing it at a smaller school.

Clemson and Alabama have both been in the playoffs five times, making it to the finals four times. That's nine extras opportunities each. The conference championship in the SEC will always feature two ranked teams, whereas that hasn't always been the case for the ACC lately. (Although Alabama got into, and won, the national championship without even playing for the conference title during that time. A travesty, imo.)
