that's just a side comment.

There's countless tunes by countless artists/bands where guests help lift the song to greatness. If you don't like the guest lead solo deal, which is unique amongst Beatles songs in itself, then it's this:
the sublime chorus line is like, deep.
"You're asking me will my love grow, I don't know, I don't know."

otherwise I'd pick one of their rockers, not that stoner crap.

then high five....you're a wise man of exquisite taste--he's mine too. I'm just saying WMGGW isn't the best representation of their work because such a large part of it is another outside artist. Same reason I wouldn't say Layla is Clapton/Derek and the Dominoes greatest work, because the best part of it is Duane Allman.
