I despise the Dino code teams. I kind of respect the Brown coached Cuse. They might not beat Tennessee but they hung in there. Definitely doesn’t look like the Tennessee UVA and Tennessee NC state massacre the last 2 years.

They didn’t hang in there. TN was down several key players on defense and they slowed it down when their QB got hurt.
Still won by almost 3 TDs.
Syracuse has a solid O-line and their RB is good, Angeli is a solid QB.
But that game was not in doubt.

The score was 38-26 in the 4th and Syracuse had the ball. That’s hanging in there. If they didn’t hang in there we didn’t hang in there with Texas last year.

14 points off turnovers helps just about any team. Outside of the early blunders, Cuse played respectable and shouldn't be underestimated. It's week 1.

Whatever makes some people feel better about a future opponent, I guess 🤷♂️

The statement wasn't about feeling better about anything. I added context to your understatement. Fact is UT benefitted from capitalizing on turnovers. Good teams do that.
Cuse may or may not be a good team. Idk/you dk/etc. it's week 1. Rotating in subs is a normal part of the game. Maybe you're a Tennessee super fan and know their depth like the back of your hand. However, putting in freshman nowadays doesn't mean much like 5-10 years ago.

I listened to the broadcast, jackwad. That’s how l knew they substituted those players. And yes, Tennessee took advantage of the turnovers, as good teams do.

Yep. Take away the TOs and a terrible call on their first drive and it’s a close game.
UT is a middle of the pack SEC team at best. Probably 7-8 wins max.
