Swag Kelly

Enough already. Maybe they should show the video of Kelly getting into the faces of the Clemson coaches in light of the Florida coach catching heat for what he did. Let's see what Kelly can do against real competition...want to see what he does when he gets knocked around.

He has emotional issues but he can play. He was better than Stoudt. He may suprise some around here. Hope he does I hate bama.

CK has grown a lot since he got tossed from Clemson. Dabo throwing him out was the best thing that ever happened to Chad Kelly. He will look back and have as much respect for Dabo as he does for anyone in his life because Dabo was the first person in his life who loved him enough to draw a line without moving it.

He discontinued Chad's direction in life for a short while, if not for life. We hurt but when football becomes more important than the player who plays the game and the fan wow support it, it becomes an idol and a mill stone around the necks of those with that view.

I'm pulling for Chad in his personal life but I'm pulling for Bama to win. I fear ESPiN will slip two SEC teams in the playoff if ole miss wins the SEC. Bama won't drop out of the top ten and will move back inside the top five by season's end.

Other than that I'm pulling for a total meltdown of both.

If I were a football coach I would not want a quarterback leading my team who didn't want to play every minute, go for every fourth down and score on every play. You win with kids with that fire and attitude. Perhaps Kelly did not handle the situation with coach Swinney in the proper way but I can't fault him for his attitude. I hope he does well at Mississippi and blows Bama out of the saddle tonight! Swagger ain't no bad thing. Remember a guy named Namath?

It's one thing to play with a competive attitude and then there is that player that gets so fired up that they lose the ability for rational thought. I was right behind the bench during that Spring game and if Kelly would of pleaded his case in a rational manner he would have played the rest of that game. Chad has this "Swag" persona that he feels he has to live up too. He was out of control and he couldn't just sit down and gain his composure and get back out on the field, had argued with practically every coach on that sideline. if heKelly gets rocked a couple of times I will not be surprised if he goes into self destruct mode. Maybe he has matured, but from what I saw that day he has a long way to go.

Kid can play. Glad he's not at Clemson. That's a guy that will have the locker room divided by season's end. I will say this: it would have been interesting to see the competition between Kelly and Watson.

I don't hate. I get aggravated with the hype that ESPN throws out there, plus a friend from Mississippi was giving me the business about how Clemson made a huge mistake by dismissing Kelly. He was dissing our Mr. Watson.
