Student Football Ticket Distribution

I just got this email from CUSG. They're moving the student distribution online and doing away with camping out for tickets and everything.

Now there will be a bunch of students getting tickets and not even going to the games. Im sure the die hard fans who camp out for tickets actually go.

Student attendance for basketball dropped sharply

There will be students who get lower deck tickets and don't show up, and the die hard students that used to get seats on or near the front row and drive the energy of the entire crowd will be disbursed all over the place.

The grades/pressured to skip class issue is BS. It was always easy for my friends to find somebody to hold down the fort when the others were in class, and I did my best studying of freshman year while I was camped for football and basketball tickets.

Clemson football now has 1 less thing that makes it special and different than just about everybody else.

I vividly remember "holding down the fort" and studying while my other friends were at class in the afternoon (I had all early classes) for some reason.

This is sad.
