Stop telling fans how to feel

Stop telling fans how to feel about the current state of Clemson football.

I’ve been a Clemson fan my entire life. Granted it’s not as long as most, 29, but I’ve been devoted since my parents took me to my first game decades ago and continue to be. That being said, you can’t tell fans to “enjoy the success” or “trust dabo because he’s earned it.” It’s a loser mentality.

When dabo was first hired, I remember going back and forth with my dad about how good of a hire it is. But the dabo that is currently HC at Clemson isn’t the same one Clemson fans fell in love with.

Dabo doesn’t have hubris. He doesn’t have the humility to admit that he’s made a mistake. He will never admit that consistently giving his sons a scholarship and roster spot is a waste of a spot for someone of talent. He’ll never admit that majority of his coaching hires have been misses. He’ll never admit that Clemson is indeed slipping bc he can’t admit the faults within himself.

I would love nothing more than to be wrong.
But you can’t tell fans to “trust in dabo” when in the last 3 seasons, the trajectory has been downward and he won’t acknowledge it.

Just because fans aren’t willing to rest on the successes of the past and want continued success doesn’t make them a “coot” or a less of a fan. Stop attacking people because they don’t share the same pumper attitude as yourself and want the people who are paid a substantial amount of money to take accountability and right the ship.
