Why not just call it off.
Write it off as a bad idea,
Pay th attorneys,apologize to old line ACC Loyalists and Other teams who helped us become who we are, both academically,and athletically.
And for you folks who are so eaten up by the SEC,please answer this for me:
How many Natty's you think we would have won in your so wonderful SEC.
Think our recruits don't consider the option of ge getting beat up every weekend in the SEC?
Think also about our excellent re cruiting years in and out at the
high level we have would have been in the SEC?
Our quality coaches would likely have considered this obvious decision before coming here, and desiring to move on to higher coaching opportunities?

I reason to believe that Clemson would do better in recruiting as well. Let's not forget that since Dabo's arrival, Clemson has a winning record against SEC opponents and B10 opponents.

It’s more about what do we need to do about staying relevant financially. You are mentioning a lot of “what ifs” when the facts say we will be behind the 8 ball financially. What we want or what we think is best is more money. That’s the college football world of 2024. Sad to some but the ones that have it could careless how this whole deal ends up.

The problem with your argument is this isn’t 2011 anymore, it’s not even 2017. A lot has changed since 2018. NIL and transfer portal has changed college football and the money the SEC and B1G is about to make will dwarf the ACC. We are already seeing the negative effects in recruiting, specifically offensive and skill players. If everything was the same as it was in 2015,16,17, no one would be saying anything and we’d be totally happy with the ACC.

Oh, you mean accept 2nd rate status and 30 to 40 million less revenue then the big or the SEC?
Sorry, we either get out of the ACC, and get somewhere with at least close to revenue parity,
or give up any hope of playing football on a major level.
