3 easy step to improve the ACC
Feb 8, 2015, 11:25 AM
|

Step 1. Get rid of the transfer rule. The ACC is only hurting ourselves not letting kids transfer between teams.
Step 2. Make Miami and Pittsburg build there own stadium. You will never be anything without your own home.
Step 3. Kick out Wake. The bring nothing to the table.

Wow, i agree with none of your points.

1. Transfer rule is not unique to the ACC. Also, if a kid has a legitimate reason, i think a coach would let him go where he wants.
2. Pitt and Miami not having a stadium on campus is not even close to the main issue the acc has. Telling schools to spend the amount of money required on a stadium way oversteps the power i want the acc to have.
3. Wake has always supported Clemson, i will always support Wake.

abondoning stadiums on or near campus and sharing the pro fields. College and pro sports are light years apart in fan bases, tradition, and gameday atmospheres.
With Wake, I wouldn't ever support the ACC kicking them out, but I would support the ACC buying them out, and I'm not so sure that Wake wouldn't be supportive of that provided they get to keep a rotation of NC schools on their sports schedules in the future. The league still has a potful of dough from MD leaving - might be a good use of those funds for all involved.
