nearly always have Top 10 classes. In fact, when looking at all the recruiting services, each one of their past 5 classes were ranked in the Top 10 by at least one recruiting service. And no one can question their defense. The fact that they have lost only one night game at home in the past 10 years, makes beating them a tall order. It's no wonder that the oddsmakers have made them the favorite.

did not consider that their season would start until the South Carolina game because they didn't think highly of Auburn and Florida prior to the start of the season. And thus, they have had the Carolina game circled for quite awhile. Obviously, Florida's emergence took them by surprise.

sports and at LSU is the toughest place to play in football especially at NIGHT. Teams are completely different on the road than at home. Look at the difference in points for Clemson at home and away last year, it was like 38 to 20

Have you seen their defense? Clowney is going to chase Boyd around in circles all day long. Our O-line is not good enough to stop him. We have the same skill players we had last year and a worse defense. We all know how last year's game ended up don't we. And by the way, Conner Shaw is a heck of a college QB in Spurrier's system. Just don't see how we can beat them this year. Now next year I think we will.

on paper we probably have an advantage but it is far from being certain. i dont care if we come in undefeated, i will be really nervous. our team is built really nice but we are also built to grind it out in close games and hopefully play from ahead. our offense is ok but we need to be in a position to stay balanced. if we get behind and have to pass we are much easier to defend. our defense is very good but also built to play from ahead. if we get a lead we become elite because if the opponent has to pass ee can drop 7 into coverage and still get pressure. if the game is close and we have to watch the run it means our lb stsy closer to lod and we are more vulnerable to big plays.
the reason i say all that is because clemson is a team that can get ahead of you if you are not very sound. you may call the perfect scheme and still get scored on. if ellington makes 3 guys miss or watkins runs by you or hopkins jumps over your perfect coverage it doesnt matter if you were in the right defense. if those players make those plays, which are well within their ability, then you are possibly out of your gameplan with 80000+ tiger maniacs screaming at you. bad place to be.
so while i think all carolina fans should feel ok about the matchup, it is still a rivalry game against a good team. a team who plays the style most likely to beat you. whoever forces the opponent to play their style wins that game.

Think about how you would have answered this after the Vandy game and the ECU game. Just because the Dawgs rolled over and played dead?
Have some faith. I know we can beat them. If you know we will loose, why dont you just take the rest of the year off and come back to join us next year.

I had a lot of SC fans saying we'll get drilled by Clemson last year when we were 8-0. Then injuries started to happen.

Go on the road the next couple of weeks
They are built with defense so its easier to travel (and LSU doesn't realize that you can play football on both sides of the ball). But sometimes you point to a game for so long, you can't really get it back.
