Speaking of Classic TV, you guys remember Quantum Leap?

Oct 24, 2012, 8:03 PM

I remember watching one episode as a kid where at the end (setting up the next episode) Sam leaps into the body of Lee Harvey Oswald. I remember being super excited to watch that episode and then being disappointed when it never aired. Does anyone else remember that happening or is my memory playing tricks on me?

Also, I'm clearly pretty bored.

Thank you! After some googling, I think I know what happened

Oct 24, 2012, 11:24 PM

The episode was a 2hr season opener during the last season, which means the initial jump/set-up happened during the season finale of the previous season. I think, being a kid, I didn't realize it was the season finale, so when I tuned in the next week something else aired on in its place. I must have just continued believing there was some sort of mix-up and they never aired the episode. Now I know though, that really it was a failing by my freaking parents to explain to me basic concepts of TV programming. ;)
