Well it’s official! Clemson isn’t getting into the SEC

If the reports are true and Notre Dames value is $75M annually with some sort of Big 12 connection there is no way Clemson gets into the SEC as Clemsons full share would be 90M ish while only bringing in at best $75M. Let’s be honest clemson is no Notre Dame it’s true value by itself is $50M tops. Clemson will never anchor a legit power conference as it simply isn’t that big of a brand . Enjoy those road trips to wake forest in ESPN U.

As it is. Great path to the playoff. If it ever gets to the point that a team must he on BIG or SEC to get into playoff, then we will he in sec, or there will be a power three. For now, loving it like it is. At 16 teams a piece, there's no way they can have a credible national champ just out of 32 teams.
Beating South Carolina 8yeats straight established that money doesn't determine wins.
ACC has three national football titles in last nine years and three basketball titles.

i heard, from a reliable source, that the SEC was negotiating with the ACC and Southern Conference. They are trying for a deal to send USuCk to the Southern Conference and replace them with Clemson to the SEC. Sounds about right to me.

Coot, Clemson is in the 35th largest TV market (Greenville/Spartanburg/Asheville/Anderson)in the country. Cootlumbia is like 30 spots below around 67th. Looks like the SEC messed up and took the wrong brand but I guess they figured that out after USUC had back to back winless seasons less than 10 years after joining. Pathetic losers!
