Sorry to put all this in perspective, but

Jan 12, 2016, 12:54 AM

I've had one of the worst nights of my life and it had nothing to do with Clemson football. It is nothing I can give details, but my life is forever altered due the action of a person I trusted. I hate the Tigers couldn't pull out the game, and I will always love this team more than any I've ever watched in person. Somethings are just more important than football, even Clemson football. We will still have next season, and I look for it to be great. I do believe that God is Good, all the time!

I'm sorry to hear that...

I also had an eye opening experience during a losing effort to the Gamecocks several years back. It does put things into perspective. Yes, it will sting for a while, but we'll live. The sun will still come up tomorrow. We sometimes forget that we're pulling for a group of very young men. Mistakes were made but overall it was a great experience. I'm proud to be a Tiger and I hope we all show as much class in this loss as we have in our winning. I hope things improve for you as well.

You have to keep things in perspective. We lost a game many years ago and my friends were so upset. I had found out my newborn son had down syndrome the day before and the loss was not all that important to me. However, the FSU loss last year about killed me. Life goes on and you have to keep on plugging away.

It's all about perspective.

Hope your son is well.
Would be willing to bet that you have learned more positives about life because of his presence.
Thanks for sharing your story.
I wish you, your family, and your son well!
Thank you.
