We beat them easy this year. Their D is still weak. In years ahead, they have the ability due to the Atlanta market to pay players more than we can.

Exactly my thoughts. GT is scrappy and can make big plays. They’re fighting for a bowl game. SU is winnable for them to get them to a bowl. But they’ll be fighting and capable.

They switched play callers after the BG loss. Since then, they have been gaining momentum on O every game. Haynes King (QB) was highly recruited (started his career at TAMU) and is really coming into his own. He can sling it and run, plays with moxie. They have a freshmen WR that’s a track guy and he has been explosive downfield the last couple of games. Running back also has speed and has broken many long runs.
Last two games:
638 yards against UNC for 46 points
514 yards against UVA for 45 points (and essentially shut down the offense in the 4th).
They are gaining momentum and have serious speed. HTH.

I’d suggest watching the UNC and UVA highlights on YouTube. They’re explosive.

One thing folks seem to pass on is depth.
A football game is an ordeal on a player (not just us fans).
GT is up and coming and exceeding expectations.
A big difference in teams is the bench. A great example is yesterday -> Alabama- LSU. Both teams are stocked well, but one better.
GT don't have enough horses to go 4 quarters against Clemson.
I'll wager a thousand coins on that.

I completely agree. I’m just trying to provide some insight on why folks are bringing up their O. I’ve watched a lot of their games and they’re a hot team. They do have speed. But, to your point, they don’t have depth. I just wouldn’t sleep on them. Especially seeing as GTs weakness is D, and our O has sputtered at times. To say, they might not need a great D to slow us down.
If we can get into a high snap count game, I think the depth ends up shining through.

I believe we will win. Better defense. But I dont think it will be blowout by any means.
