Sometimes, things don't go as planned. We had a nice family

lunch set up at Cracker Barrel yesterday, to celebrate No. 2 son's birthday, as well as his Uncle's birthday. (Same date, 50 years apart.) As Coach Corso would say, not so fast. I woke up feeling not so good, and it progressed quickly, to the point that I told my wife she needed to take me home from the restaurant, as I was NOT going to order any food anyway. She dropped me off at Bro-in-Law's house, where I had left my truck earlier.

I only made it about halfway from there to our house before the vomitation hit. I stumbled into the house, cleaned myself up, and fell into bed, from whence I did not even turn over for the next seven hours. You don't have to have really high fevers to feel turribel, trust me. I only had 100.6, and felt like death. At one point I TRIED to sit up on the edge of the bed, and was so weak I could barely manage it.

Even though I assured my wife it was only a 24 hour nasty bug, she insisted I do a home Covid test. So, that was $10 down the drain, as it was NOT Covid. She also insisted I do a blood sugar stick, as I am diabetic. When did she get a medical degree, I wondered? But, luckliy, some thoughts do not make it past the lips. Sugar was only 127, so no problems there, either. Just feeling absolutely, positiviely horrible.

Fever broke sometime during the night, as I woke up swimming in wet sheets. I feel relatively human again this morning, although the thought of food still does not excite me at the present time. I did test the curative powers of Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup, though, I have faith in that stuff. Hopefully, I continue to improve during the day. Go, Tigers.

I have had that. At first you are afraid you will die. As it drags on you are afraid you won't. Take care and book a nice do over when you are well.

So sorry and hope you continue to improve. Prayers

Sounds like the intro for a "Snapped" episode. Check your antifreeze jug! Might be some missing.
