last year only 4 teams in the entire SEC had winning conference records. And they were…..
Bama
UGAy
Kentucky
Ole Miss
I’m pretty confident Clemson would come in an be able to compete for a conference title immediately.

I agree. The created perception is that all the teams are championship caliber, but the truth is only a couple regularly are, a couple more Kaye periodically have their moment in the spotlight, but there are many usc, OL Miss. MSU, etc, who are like the little chihuahua that tries to be buddies with “Spike”.

Yes, but adding Texas and Oklahoma and who knows who else, upsets will happen nearly every week.

Could be, but upsets happen many times each season anyway. That just adds to the interest and creates more possibilities

We know Bama is always great, UGA is normally very good. The thing about the SEC is that every year there are 3 to 4 really good teams. It is just not consistent as to who the other are it may be LSU, Florida, Auburn, A&M, Ole Miss or even Mizzou. We know Tennessee and Arkansas can be very good they just haven't recently.

Arkansas has actually been pretty good the two couple of years under Sam Pittman. They beat a lot of good teams, and played Alabama down to the wire. They lost by one touchdown, and it came down to an onside kick. They lost to Ole Miss by one point. As I posted just a minute ago, Arkansas went 9-4 and one their bowl game against Penn State. I would say Arkansas is pretty good right now.

Right, and you know what the kicker is? Most of the other teams that you say didn't have a winning record, are still really good teams that probably would have went undefeated in most other conferences. However, a 'winning Record' is kind of subjective. Arkansas win 9-4 and beat Penn State in the Bowl Game. I consider that a success.
