Watson should have won the Heisman in his and Trevor already had jewelry on order starting his!
I now love me some DJ though! He is playing like we thought he would last year and has a chance of going all the way!

One, no one "hates" DJ. Numbers can be made to whatever you want them to be. He's not in the same league as being elite as DW4 or Trevor. He's improved but has a ways to go to be there. You're not really comparing apples to apples.
DJ has played all but 2 series in those 7 games. Both Trevor and DW4 played 3 qtrs in most of those games. We were also much more balanced in running. Something we still can't do consistently. Also, a lot of DJ's passing yardage comes from behind the los passes. Not as much with Trevor, but many more jet sweeps with DW4. Now, not djs fault we have to use the rb screens and WR screens as extended run game.
He's getting better in the rpo but still struggling. As for DW4 and Trevor, they extended play running, djs is more designed runs. He ends up most every game with the most number of carries. Some of those should be going to ship or Mafah but that's a different argument too.
Know way to know what either QB could do with each qbs stable of WR's.

One there’s plenty that dislike DJ, two he’s not DW4 or TLAW he also doesn’t have there weapons, DJ isn’t perfect but he’s better then what he gets credit for and we can win the big games with him. He’s going to keep getting better ??

Who are these haters y’all keep referring to? Do you just dream up imaginary persecutions and then set about defending against them? If you’re still talking about the deer in the headlights DJ that everyone wanted to see replaced he was. He snapped out of it and everyone was so thankful. Otherwise the only DJ haters are the poor secondary’s that are forced to try and cover the dimes he’s been dropping

people were still calling him "big stinko" at the beginning of the season.
Others were calling for Cade every five seconds.

It’s middle Oct and you’re referring to early Sept when he was in fact playing awful. So bad we dropped significantly in the rankings. If he were still playing like that and losing games then we would more than likely all be “DJ Haters” but as it isn’t so none of us are. Who wants to keep referring to the past like this and pretending we have a problem when we clearly don’t?

You’re not making the point you think you are. I did the math for Trevor. DJ has attempted 13% more passes over his 7 games. That breaks down to 3 more passes per game on average. TL would have likely picked up two more TDS and another interception. He would have netted about 50 more passing yards than DJU. Even Clemson fans don’t want to acknowledge that DJU is having an elite season even as the evidence is right in front of you.

Link to what. Go to espn and add it up yourself. 213 passes for DJU for 7 games. 190 for TL.

DJ haters??? I doubt anyone has the time or knows DJ personally to hate him. He’s playing more confidently but nowhere near TL16 or DW4 level. I put Kelly Bryant and Taj Boyd ahead of DJ

Took him a bit longer than we expected but nonetheless, here we are at 7-0 with the same QB that many left for dead last year. Trust coach when he says this guy can play. He means it!
Go Tigers!!!

Can't argue with numbers. Last year was laid too heavily on DJ. It was a multi unit failure. Which is worse than a quarterback failure but things are on the rebound. I think the Coaches ought to reexamine everything we do.
