my dad passed away in 2020...
I remember being a teen and wanting my first car... dad would let me dream BIG.. test drove a 67 Stringray; I couldn't even see the road over the hood. All the while he reminded me, he couldn't help me buy a car and I had to get insured; his money had to be for the house/bills/family. So I saved, took out a small loan and after working for almost 2 years.. I bought me what I wanted in my price range. (yes, he went on to help the other kids.. but that was yrs later)
After becoming an adult, I would never have ask for help.. I'd LEARN.. the same way my folks had learned how to deal with the ups/downs without asking for help.
Well I've been wanting something for a couple of years and when we settled my dad's estate last month.. I let him help me.. SEE ATTACHED PIC. I think he would like the idea of helping me get a big boy truck.
OMG.. I pulled the camper with this beast over Thanksgiving and never knew the camper was behind it (well, except the rear-view mirror being blocked ). So, now Mr OSF and I are planning some road trips (within reasonably miles). I've already had to tell Mr OSF's drunk butt I wasn't driving to Glacier Mountain
and NO we didn't abandon the Frontier I've drove for yrs, Mr OSF took it. So now, I dont have to "leave the truck at home", cause he wants to go to Lowes.
Now if I could just win the jackpot Powerball. I'd be set for life.

shoulda got the '67 Stingray. Vision out is terrible, though.
Keep that camper in the road. No fun in yo driveway.
