We have watched and fretted and suffered through some agonizing years
when we all felt we should have won more games. We have watched a new head
coach become seasoned, a new offense installation, a new defense scheme
become dominate. We have had almost all the pieces but not all of them.
And our weak points have killed us as fans and as a team.
That is all behind us now IMO. We have all the tools we need. Our recruiting is solid and will remain so because success breeds success.
Our offense will be electric, our defense will hit other teams in the mouth and then step on their neck.
We have playmakers on both sides of the ball. We are fast and strong. Our star is rising.
Its gonna be awesome.
We are not ever going to have to rebuild again, its reload from here on out in the Dabo years.
I can see it, I can feel it. It's gonna be glorious.
We are gonna start playing for championships and we are gonna win them too
Call me a pumper all you want....but no one can stop what's coming.

I am in complete agreement, the future is as bright for our Tigers as it is for any other team in CFB. We will compete and win against the best and it will be an even greater thing to be a Tiger!

Not to downplay the team's success and potential future success...
We saw DW for around 16.5 quarters total on the season (little north of 4 full games).
If you extrapolate his stats for TD passes/rushes, yards, etc - he would've ended up somewhere around these numbers across a full 12 game season (as a true frosh no less):
- little north of 4,000 yards passing
- 40 TD passes
- 15 TD rushes
- 6 picks
Mariota's numbers so far:
- 3783 yards passing
- 38 TD passes
- 14 TD rushes
- 2 picks
Incredible.

Our football program is in the best shape it's been since our Danny years and the few following. However, as much as I think Dabo is a perfect fit for our University and fans I'm now considering him a veteran or seasoned until he's spent 10 years as a coach.
After saying that I'll admit I hope his 10th year is spent here and that we maintain the perfect match we've enjoyed throughout those years.
