My Top 5 Coaches; I dislike as a CU fan 2023

The list kind of fluctuates yearly as far as order; but for this year here are my top 5. Some are because of the coach and some are because of the school and then in the case of Nan-C-Stank U "it's both"!
1. Dave Doeran. What can you say? The school and him are made for each other. Mama said, My my my my mama said, "If you can't say nah nothing nice, don't say nah nothing at all"! So, the end.
2. Crying Ryan Day - I've never cared for Ohio State or as I call them 1 and 4 State U. But, this isn't about the school; though they do have some obnoxious fans as well. They do have some good ones mixed in there too. This is about Crying Ryan and some of his outrageous comments/statements around Clemson! Dude has a huge recruiting advantage on the rest of the slow 10 and still manages to "funk it up on occasion"!
3. Jimbo Fisher = "dirty old uncle nobody associates with"! Dirty cutthroat that "truth be told" has gotten bailed out of the blame for FSU; because everyone has forgotten they needed to beat UL Monroe to go bowling in a makeup game his last year! They put it all on Taggert, but the ship had already left the dock and headed for an iceberg by then. He did it and takes none of the blame/heat for it.
4. Brian Kelly - this dude is the Kevin Durant of Head Coaches of CFB. Leaving situations who have done it or who are set up to win already. Plus, his smugness leaves a lot to be desired. Like Ryan Day though; the guy can coach. Not taking that away from him; I just don't think I would ever want to advise a kid to go play for such an individual.
5. Dana Holgorsen - I haven't forgotten his time at WVA. And, his antics leave a lot to be desired. He is like some of the other coaches who were offensively-minded; but without a championship! If I read it correctly; he has a tendancy to run kids off as well. Just a nasty bugger!

And Kirby’s recruiting shenanigans don’t bother you? This is what makes him #1 on my list.
- all his tactics to get players to make excuses to suddenly not visit us.
- his continual over recruiting positions looking for a better one- hence the huge number of “de-commitments” over the past 5 years. (Watch- it’s about to happen one more time with a high profile QB Raiola- when the once OSU committed QB picks UGA, Kirby’s latest QB will de-commit).

2. Mike Gundy (didn’t stick up for himself a few years ago over the shirt issue) can’t respect that. He and Drew Brees only made it easier for the left to come after the right because we won’t stick up for ourselves. Sorry for the politics but it’s the reason

1. Jimbo Fisher. After running FSU into the dumpster fire i was on the verge of giving him the benefit of the doubt. After all the NIL junk and certainly after App St. handed him his @@@, turns out he's the most overrated coach out there. Except for...
2. Lane Kiffen. Still don't see what anyone else does in this guy. Word was you only hired Lane if Monte was part of the deal. Maybe he's just the best used car salesman out there. Except for....
3. Urban Meyer. I've never been able to figure if Urban is a good coach, good recruiter or just able to talk a big game enough to get hired.
4. Jim Harbaugh. Probably the most entitled whiny crybaby in all of sports. He genuinely gets upset when other teams don't lay down for the wolverines. And God forbid the refs actually call a penalty on Michigan.
5. Dave Doeren. Nothing really against Dave. He just wants to beat us every year. Sorry to disappoint Dave. I think even Wolfpackers are getting a little bored with the "this is the year" expectaions.

tigerhurst Love how you constructed your list. One name most Tigers fans will always have on their list is Dave Dorean!
Urban - I would say he was an innovative coach. Remember he won at Utah and made them a team you didn't want to see. That spread option with the right QB was hard to defend.

It's so funny to hear the old Coots at the golf course talk about how great Beamer is. These are the same guys that have claimed for years that Dabo is nothing but a cheerleader, and yet, Beamer is a Dollar Tree version of Dabo. Everything the guy does is a rip off of Dabo.

- The Old Ball Sack - I've never despised another coach more
- Dave Hitman Doeren - instructing and congratulating players for hurting another player is despicable
- Ryan Day - cannot win with class and comes off as a blowhard
- Lane Kiffin - just a turd with no loyalty
- Urban Meyer - same reason as above but I can separate the Utah/Florida version of him from the Ohio State/Jacksonville version
