So you're saying there's a chance...

Obviously the main priority is beating GT this weekend, but besides for that obvious statement, wrap your brain around this...
Looking at Baylor's schedule, they'll lose again because they're this years Kansas State, so we'll jump them in the BCS.
And then looking at the schedules of Oregon and Stanford, neither of them are playing any highly ranked teams.
IF we go in and beat a TOP 10 South Carolina, and by some miracle Ohio state loses to Michigan and Alabama loses in the SEC Champ to either Georgia or Carolina, we would get the rematch with FSU.
Small chance, YES, but there's still a chance, and I'd love nothing more for us to win out these last 3 games and give us a shot, because you never know...
Go Tigers!

But even a one loss bama might get a shot anyway unless a three loss SCAR beats them. OSU losing is least likely.

with only one loss. Coaches and Harris Polls will not vote us over Alabama. Only way Alabama is out, IMO, is if they loose to Auburn and SEC champ game. UGA has to beat Auburn this weekend for there to be any chance, IMO. Then our game with USuCk becomes even bigger. Gotta beat GT first for anything to matter.

So you are saying if Bama loses they will only drop 1 spot?

I know there is a bias towards them and rightfully so but no way do they lose that late in the season and only drop from #1 to #2.

jump them. Hate to say it, but a 1 loss Alabama team in the MNC is more attractive than a rematch of us and FSU. If our game at home would've been a close one....well that is a different conversation. #### Stanford lost to UTAH and they are in front of us. Can't do much about the pollsters, I think at this point in the season they vote for potential matchups more than anything else and that is 2/3's of the freaking formula, playoffs can't come soon enough!!

I'm not sure about that

would they have a better shot than us? Absolutely...
But I don't think they would be a lock. They would not have won their division. If UCS managed to win the East and then beat AU. We might slip in with a win over UCS.

Sure there is a chance, but here are some scenarios that could work for or against us: Baylor may not lose. While Oregon and Stanford don't play any highly ranked teams, neither do we till we play SC,and if they should somehow lose to Florida, they would drop out of the top 10. Then you have Missouri, which could win the East if S.C. should lose to Florida.Granted Missouri still has A&M,but they could win out. Georgia, and S.C. have to win out in conference play to have a shot at the East. Ohio State could lose, but they could go undefeated. And how about Bama? You say what if they lose to Georgia,or Carolina in the SEC championship game. What about if Auburn beats them on the Plains the final weekend.Auburn could jump us even if we do win out. Finally if FSU loses to Florida,( Muschamps job is after all on the line),what happens to FSU's NC hopes. Clemson needs to win out. That is all they need to have happen. They have no control over anything else that happens. There are just too many things that have to happen for Clemson to get another shot at FSU. Then again, with everything being the same,we would not be having this conversation if Clemson had taken care of businss in the Valley against FSU,would we?
