Until recently, liberals encouraged open and heated debate. False information was exposed by debate and presentation of facts. Now liberals seek to censor, silence, and shut down opposing views.
Why the change?

Liberals are intolerant of what they see as hate speech that they see as not worth debate. They see it as having a. Debate with Hitler about whether the Jews should be gassed. They see certain things as not worth debate.

It’s surprising to me that you really think a lot of people who weren’t in the cult actually know who he was. I had no idea until he was murdered this week. I MAY have heard his name in the last year but I’m not sure. I have since watched some videos and I have to say I would be offended by some of the racist stuff he said if it pertained to me.

But, your jab at gender and biological sex entirely misses the immense amount of research and studies that have been done into how those two terms actually differ. And though the subject is far from new, you've taken a reductionist view that the difference has been invented recently because YOU hadn't been exposed to the difference.
That plays directly into the point he was making on education and the willingness to examine personal views within the context of new information.

So, when you say something like "only women can give birth", any discussion/debate of that point would require a distinction of whether you are using the term "woman" in a biological or gender context. And that nuance, though backed by the research done into the areas where the two differ, will be mocked by many. Even though years of studying have been put into understanding individuals for who the two do not align, and even though that research has, time and again, shown that the best path forward for those individuals' mental health is having their external presentation match their internal perceived gender, folks who are unable or unwilling to take in and understand that new information will continue to belittle and mock.

Biological sex and gender are not the same thing. Your DNA does not determine your gender identity, the two correlate for the majority of individuals, but they do not align perfectly.
So we've seen why a discussion of this sort can be fruitless.
