Concept Uniforms and Helmet

I think it would be perfectly fine if we incorporated these alternative uniforms for the first home game of each season, and changed it up each year to make a splash. I love our traditional uniforms, but I think using a marketing ploy to further push the Paw into the public eye wouldn't be a bad thing. I totally get that putting a superior product on the field is the most important thing,but just like the hype videos people around the country would take notice each year to see what the new concept uniform would be on the opening game.

I'm sure there were fans upset when they took the "C" off of the helmet and put the paw on there. Thinking history only pertains to the time frame of your life is slightly egocentric don't you think? I'm not saying change the Clemson uniform forever, just one game, and sometimes those uniforms help a game stick out in your mind. I remember when we wore all white road uniforms against the dirtpeckers in columbia and they were in all black. Or more recently the Thursday night game against GT when Spiller and Davis ran rough shod over the yellowjackets.

we should be open minded and trust that the changes are there for good reason. We shouldn't be so quick to judge the motives of our uniform design team and should just accept that changes (whether big or small) are always for the better. We as a fan base are just too stuck in the tradition that we have come to know and love and are so close-minded to the possibilities that come along with progress. Did I get your meaning, sir?
