a high-profile player returning in 24 hours. One was a media story trying to get a jump on a non-story the other was straight from the player's mouth.
I think in the future I will just wait until either the Coaching staff or player makes an announcement before believing our own media journalists who are trying to make a name for themselves with non-stories.

I've still been scratching my head about that. Got me all excited that Breese and 3-4 others were all coming back. Unless Ruke and Davis both come back, I'm starting think maybe he was told one thing and the kids changed their mind.
I'm with you on people trying to create a story to get their name out there. Thats bush league.

When he made that statement, the most impactful (6) guys we could have hoped to stay would have been Bresee, Davis, Henry, Ruke, Nagata and XT.
So far, only 1 out of those 6 has committed to staying.
Who are the 5 taking their Covid year? I know XT & Phillips are staying, who are the other 3?
