Just barely edged us in success rate but beat them in EPA by a decent margin

except TO's and score. i was on the north side row Q, 45ish yard line.. on 1 play the Stanford QB was throwing the ball away into the sideline.. and hit one of their equipment managers in the head.

They never led in passing yards or yards per play.

I was right in front of you on row F. Dude was shaking his head for a minute or two.
QB nailed him. He never saw it coming.
His sideline buddies were laughing at him. lol.

Exactly. I don't care if a team gains over a 1000 years. As long as we

Bad turnovers and stupid decisions on 4th down that gave us a short field. We didn’t have to drive long fields to score, thanks to their mistakes. I guess this graph doesn’t take into account stupid.

Stanford was being aggressive. They came there to spoil our evening for sure. And, steadily made calls to try and do that.
They were very physical in the trenches; which is good for us. We need to play physical teams; so we aren't blown away when we play one.
I thought A. Terrell did a good job on their #1 WR #13 who's an All-American.
Their QB was an Elite 11 guy; so no slouch.
These games are good for the mental makeup of the team in terms of overcoming some big plays on their part. Anytime you can get some good growing opportunities; "in a win" it's a good thing!
Kudos to Stanford!

Any description of methodology and we're just gonna take it as fact?
His bio says economics, football, data science which means I have the exact same qualifications as he does. Please stand by I'll be posting a detailed analysis by EOD. It takes a while to run stuff in Python on Mondays cause everyone else is working in it.

It’s a win-win. Clemson won the game, while gaining experience (as well as game video) on what to improve, particularly on run defense. Go Tigers!

Pure silliness. The PSU and Illinois game was 14-7 in the 4th Q (21-7 final) and by his metrics it was never in doubt .
