I would not turn down a chance to go to the Masters, but I still do not give a flying #### about who wins or anything. College basketball could go ahead and die for all I care.

at the prospect of watching a bunch of Spanish-speaking dudes run around in short-shorts for 3 hours without ever scoring who are probably more concerned about what kind of tacos they're going to eat after the game than kicking a ball into a net?
I see.

Well, imagine a scenario where there are TWO guys on base

and a ball is hit to center. That poor CF thinks... I should try to catch this. WHAT IF I DON'T? Do I throw it to a base, a cutoff guy, or just heave it to the fat catcher. What if the dip in me lips comes ajar? Poor guy is probably a TRAIN WRECK working through all the strategery.

I mean, a left fielder that touches the ball 6 times in 4 hours I guess does have a lot of time to think. What do they think about wearing long pants during the summer I wonder?

I don't mind watching some of the bigger golf tournaments, but it's kind of silly to call baseball boring if you like watching golf.

I don't watch much baseball on TV, but I can go to a game in person ANY TIME. I love the entire baseball experience in person. I didn't much like to watch golf until I started playing and experienced first hand just how hard the game is.
I can watch like 2 minutes of Runkicknoenglishspoken before having to move on to something like grass growing or paint drying. That said, I watched Argentina win a world cup game in a bar in Argentina. That was an awesome experience.

CONFESSION TIME
Apr 1, 2016, 11:44 AM
|

I've been to more than 100 MLB games. In many stadiums. Have also been to many minor league games, high school, little league....you name it.
For the life of me I cannot watch it on TV. I also wouldn't intentionally set out to go to a game in person.
That said, if I ended up at a game in person....I'd actually enjoy the experience and would intently watch the game in between hookers, blow, and 17 bud lights.

up. Granted, I came from a soccer background, but I never could figure out why we were wearing long pants in baseball. Is it to slide? We slide in soccer, still wear shorts.

The White Sox tried shorts in the 1970s. It didn't last long.

compression pants if scraping up your thighs is a concern. The baseball pants we used to wear offered very little protection anyway, but were hot as helll.

that better? Here, since some folks need visuals:
You slide hard enough on clay, three or four layers aren't enough protection sometimes.

and still ended up a bloody mess every now and then. I must be an aggressive slider or my velvety soft skin is tender to the rough sand particles.

Strawberries from the hips to the outside calf cause I always wore shorts and I always slid/dove for balls in the outfield.

what I will watch, in order of priority:
1. Masters 2. Clemson baseball games 3. Final Four (will miss one due to attending higher priority Clemson baseball game) 4. Other MLB games 5. Spring Practice game
It is the best sports week of the year ---- without college football games.
Best sports week of the year for me is the week of the World Series because there are college football games that week also.
Best sports weeks: 1-15 - Clemson football weekends + bowl week 16. Masters week
