It's not a "Stacey Abrams PAC" that received the money. She's just a legal advisor to one of the groups in the coalition that received the money. Habitat for Humanity and the United Way are also involved.

Regardless of the level of her involvement, why would taxpayers be sending 2 billion to any organization like this? That's the bigger question since once it's received there is virtually no oversight into how its spent.

You don't know much about government contracts, do you? They have, by law, reporting requirements and encumbrances.
You're just repeating truisms you've heard for decades from talking heads. "Government workers don't do anything." "Government workers don't have performance reviews like the private sector." "Government contracts don't have any oversight or reporting requirements."
Educate yourself a little, or spend a little time working in that field. It may not be 100% efficient, like anything else, but it for damn sure isn't the unregulated wild west picture your echo chamber has painted to justify mowing the whole thing down.
