So, our mid-state Bird opponents are gloating over TN win, putting Clemson down for being in ACC

Yet they actually believe they are hot snot in the SEC but they’ve forgotten about that embarrassing Citadel loss, that their ONLY conference championship came in the ACC in 1969 with 7 wins (rest of acC teams were only around .500 as a group) and are about 28 wins down to Clemson since 1897 Even though they made us play them in Columbia for 60 odd years (til 1960 when it was played in Clemson 1st time!).

Saying, big time LOSERS for over 100 years until senior citizen Steve Spurrier gave them an identity that lasted a scant few years.

In fact, usc has hired with big $ three ex-national championship Head Coaches (Dietzel of LSU, Holtz of ND & Steve of UF) ..and destroyed the reputation of ALL three!

Spurrier could have been the lone one to go out untarnished but he failed too in that he quit like a Chicken mid-stream knowing TiGERS were going to beat his team like a military drum which we did.

Sad group they are!

the shreveport bowl runs through Gainesville, Oxford and Clemson this year. I am not sure they are up for the challenge.

Really hope Ol’ Miss shows up and beats them. I would love for them to make up the game against Marshall. That would be a better game than the a$$ whooping they are gonna get in the Valley!!!!!
