Here's the deal.. I have to pull for Ole Miss because my wife got her undergrad there. Honestly, their regular season schedule of SEC teams (even Vandy) is tougher than our regular schedule. Admit it!!
Outside of FSU who is tough in our league? Really?? So a game against PC matches up to our crappy out of conference schedule.

Oh you mean LSU (good, not great), Bama and Auburn are hard? Sure. No Vandy is not tough. They should have lost to Charleston Southern (which is nice because I'm a senior at CSU). Tennessee is not good.
Texas AandM is inconsistent (With a joke of an ooc schedule and barely won one of those).
We play UGA, FSU, USuC could have been a quality team. And UL. I think they are a good team. Potentially equal with LSU. Potentially. So our schedules may be similar. But you may see that we make the effort to toughen up our schedule. We couldn't get away with an OOC schedule like Ole Miss. We would never live that down.

Ole Miss OOC Schedule (Boise State, UlaLa, Memphis and PC)
Clemson OOC Schedule (Georgia, SC State, Georgia State, and South Carolina)
I was ready to give Clemson a decided advantage but $CU is really dragging-down our strength of schedule.

Don't hate on my Blue Hose-we have to pay for basketball somehow! 
Also Tommy Bowden put PC on the Clemson schedule when he was trying to recruit a Byrnes kid whose Dad was coaching at PC at the time.

At least PC is a local school to Clemson. I have no problem with Clemson nor Sc playing one small state school per year.
