If I were Clemson's legal advisor on the ACC lawsuit

I would sue for 500 billion dollars in damages, citing that the ACC diminished Clemson's brand as a football powerhouse with sub-standard TV contracts, weak additions to the conference, malfeasance among officiating crews, and overall incompetence by the league office to elevate the value of its member institutions.
With a number that high, the ACC attorneys will not risk taking this court and will undoubtedly settle under our terms, which is the ability to leave the conference penalty-free, along with a 100k-a-day compensation until we find a new home. Their hands will be tied on this one, no sane lawyer would enter a courtroom with 500 billion dollars on the line, say on the off chance the judge is a Clemson homer or presides over the case more intoxicated than usual. Regardless, it is not worth the risk and they will have to play by our terms.

if they apply the formula, the probability of losing the case (X), multiplied by (Y) , or 500 billion, =Z(risk coefficient). It will be a no-brainer on their part.

I can't believe you would put this strategy out for all to see for free. I"m faxing this over to Clemson Counsel right away.

Essentially what that group is doing is limiting competition and fixing payouts to benefit a small group by excluding or limiting others from competing?

The Grant of Wrongs, for dramatic effect. I think this would resonate with television viewers watching this case unfold on WYFF.
