Did he fumble and the ball get recovered back in the end zone?

Great question. I saw no fumble on any of the replays and Shipley was clearly out of the end zone and his knee was down while still in possession of the ball.

the EZ. Very clear to see on one view. Recovery was difficult to see on replay so there was nothing to overturn.

Replay clearly showed the fumble at about 1 yard line...

So, with our porous OL, wouldn't the smart play to purposedly take a safety -- as opposed to giving GaT the chance of scoring a TD on a fumble recovery?

Think back to last season and a few of the disasterous decisions that the CU coaching brain-trust made. One such decision gave up a long TD on the last play of the first half, when our playcall shd hv bn a conservative call.
