Did I really just hear Scott Rhymer say

“If the Tigers can find a way to win…” ???
Good grief, man. Could you lose respect for this program any quicker?
We are still a national championship program, and we’re playing freaking nc state!

Yeah, its a case of a micro market talent covering an elite program.

We were a national championship team. Currently we look like a dumpster fire on offense. In an era where you have to score 30 at least to beat a true contender he's correct. We will be fortunate to win today. It will take 24 points. Mark it down!! We as Tigers must realize that we have some tremendous issues!!

Wasnt trying to be original. But if the shoe fits? Honestly at 115th in the nation in yards per play? Its embarrassing to have our Tigers with so many superstars and to be this bad. I believe that we have been so good for so long that many fans are in denial. This is not a quick fix. 10-2 season will be lucky! Better prepare yourself. I pull hard and scream at the TV every week. I am a die hard, but I'm also a realist that refuses to make excuses. I personally believe that these issues lie at the feet of this coaching staff. They do not have this offense ready.

We’ll, unless u didn’t watch last week, I wouldn’t exactly say” the tigers are definitely going to win”. Going on the road with a bad offense and a banged up defense isn’t exactly a situation where you feel real confident. Rhymer does a good job and when you talk on the radio for 3 hrs, nowadays someone’s going to get offended by something you say

So, do you think the offense will play exactly the way they played last week?

I wasn’t really offended. Just thought it was ignorant.
And I do generally like Rhymer.

score 14 points at home against a team who had just given up 17 to visiting Kenesaw State?

I hate to say it but I agree with him.

Yes, we have been an elite program for the past few years but this offense this year has not been elite yet. Can they be elite? Absolutely, but they will have to prove it on the field and past accolades will not help them. We have to take it one play at a time and that starts trying to gut out a win today

But I also understand football and understand Clemson’s program.

Bingo!
It’s times like these, when reports of our demise are greatly exaggerated, that these Tigers pull together as brothers and get it done. That’s what our program does. That’s where the rubber meets the road on the culture at Clemson.
Tigers come to play today and get it done!

This team is nowhere close to a national championship team, right now. What the program has done in the past is irrelevant.

We aren’t playing for a National Championship today. We’re playing Nancy St.

I don't think we can score enough to run away with this game.

This isn’t a guaranteed win. We are a blue blood program but we have a lot to fix right now.
Thank god for Venables.

What you did last year

Or in the past had nothing to do with thos season. Clemson's offense has to have a breakout game today for us to win. Everything State makes a big play, I don't expect Dabo to go running out in the field and scream "But we are a national championship team"
Auburn was a National Championship team in 2010. Got crushed by a then unranked Clemson in 2011. Their national championship didn't help them win that game.
