Do they have the urgency to stay focused! They may not be as focused because they might think get in with a loss.

Live in Dallas and the talk is that they will not get respect unless they win the ACC. I do not think they will take it lightly as they have to prove they belong in a P5 conference.

Just a little info, when the word got out they were going to the ACC, 30 donors pledged 30 million dollars in less than a week. They have deep pockets.

I used to live in Plano and one day drove through Highland Park right between the SMU campus on one side of the road and the Dallas Country Club on the other.... they have more than enough money in their alumni base to compete with any college football booster club. I immediately understood why they were so good in the SWC.

I'm surprised they don't win national championships every year in golf and tennis.
